Millstone Day Nursery   Millstone Day Nursery has provided peace of mind for hundreds of local parents since opening in 1990.   It offers an exceptional quality of care of babies and children alike ranging from birth to eleven years old.   This larger nursery boasts a broad range of bright, fully equipped rooms spread over three floors, with a team of thirty-seven highly trained staff caring for one hundred and seventy-five children.   Situated in the city centre (With short stay car park) Millstone has the added benefit of both an after-school club and a holiday care programme.   A fleet of minibuses run a collection service from the majority of city schools, giving parents the freedom to collect their children after work, content in the knowledge that they are happy and well, in a safe and secure environment.   Sessions at Millstone Day Nursery run from 7.30am to 6.00pm

By laying firm foundations upon which all knowledge can be based, they develop the skills required for future school years through a range of stimulating activities, while enjoying the company of other children their own age. These emphasise the importance of encouraging a child’s early language and literacy, numeracy and the development of personal and social skills. By incorporating these into their daily routine, the children learn through a range of fun and varied activities including stories, singing, painting, dancing and movement to name but a few.   Their play experiences are based around their individual and developmental needs, providing them with the correct stimuli, to reach their maximum potential at their own pace.
